THE CLIENT
Stratford Mall – formerly Festival Marketplace – is a local community mall servicing Stratford, Ontario, offering an array of stores & services that meet the everyday needs of families in the community.
THE CHALLENGE
Complete and execute a full rebrand and implement it across multiple channels: website, social media, online advertising and internal & external building signage. This rebrand needed to cover all the bases and give the centre an entirely new look, feel & positioning that was clearly communicated across all marketing mediums.
THE INSIGHT
The existing branding was visually outdated, but more importantly, it didn’t work to drive foot traffic to the mall or engage with the community on an authentic level. With virtually zero online presence – an inactive website and no social media presence – we had an opportunity to strategically build a brand and ensure all campaign components and applications worked together seamlessly.

- Overhauled the outdated branding into a fresh, relevant design that not only reflected the physical renovations and enhancements of the shopping centre, but also better resonated with the community it serves
- Developed and launched a strategic 1-year comprehensive marketing plan that focused on reach & awareness and building community with customers
- Launched in-mall activations during key shopping periods to boost mall traffic
- Augmented in-mall activations with digital promotions, including developing an active social media presence
